Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3-4 lbs. Idaho Potatoes

  • Pepper

  • Garlic Powder

  • Lawry's Seasoned Salt

  • Cajun Seasoning

  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. Rinse and lightly scrub, any dirt from potatoes, 3-4 lbs. Idaho Potatoes.

  2. Slice the potatoes into smaller pieces, like a steak fry. (See how I cut them here)

  3. Place potatoes into a large mixing bowl.

  4. Add 2-3 Tbsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

  5. Add 1-2 Tsp. Pepper.

  6. Add 1-2 Tsp. Garlic Powder.

  7. Add 2-3 Tsp. Lawry's Seasoned Salt.

  8. Add 2-3 Tsp. Cajun Seasoning.

  9. Mix the potatoes around so they all get covered with the seasonings. (I used my hands to mix these together, probably the easiest way)

  10. Then cover a few cookie/baking sheets with tinfoil.

  11. Place the potatoes on the cookie/baking sheets and leave a small separation between each piece. (Just make sure the pieces aren't stacked or overlapping, they won't cook evenly)

  12. Bake at 415 degrees for about 20 minutes.

  13. For a more crisp fry, after they bake for 20 minutes turn the oven to Broil and cook for an additional 5-6 minutes.
